Project description

The goal of this project was to find a common IT approach with an ERP system that covers the needs of all companies. An IT strategy with the necessary future and existing topics was developed as the basis for this. A future-state IT strategy was developed to define where process harmonization should be prioritized and where specialized processes or systems should be maintained. Using a standardized method, GCS worked with the client's employees to record and analyze the processes in all specialist areas, formulate future requirements, define topics for the specialist concepts and develop these with the specialist areas. Based on the interplay between processes, functions and priorities, the GCS team of consultants drew up a list of requirements and a selection procedure for potential system providers. Potential partners were examined and evaluated together with the customer. Following the selection, a preliminary project was launched with a partner and is currently in the implementation phase.
