In this project, we supported a client with the introduction of a B2C ERP system as part of its omni-channel strategy, with the focus on the retail area in the first stage and the e-commerce connection planned as a second step. A key element was project management, which included careful implementation planning to ensure that all resources, schedules and project steps were optimally coordinated. Test management played a crucial role by not only checking system functionality, but also ensuring that specific customer requirements were met and integration into the existing IT structure. Another important aspect was the detailed planning of the "Cut Over/GoLive" phase, which ensured a smooth transition from the old to the new system. The project is currently approaching the final implementation phase of the first release, with the agile approach allowing for constant adjustments and optimizations.
