Project description

As part of a program for the holistic optimization of the supply chain, a supply chain management system was introduced in a  In a holistic optimization approach, a supply chain management system was introduced in a mail order and e-commerce company, the quality management processes were restructured in terms of organization and personnel, planning and forecastingfor the warehouse location for delivery to B2C customers and the logistics services for supplying B2C customers were expanded. GCS took on the project management and technical consulting for the customer in defining the processes and subsequent implementation. In addition to simplifying and accelerating the processes, the project achieved a high level of integration between the customer and its international suppliers and service providers, with GCS playing a leading role in multi-project management and supporting the individual measures through to the respective go-live.
