Project description

In this project, GCS took over the planning and operational support for the relocation of the warehouse logistics of a retailer in the premium fashion sector. The customer was looking for a solution to relocate its logistics processes to a new property. GCS first developed a concept for the logistics areas and processes and drew up a detailed project plan. Offers for the trades were carefully examined and commissioned. In addition, trade plans were drawn up and monitored in order to successfully complete the various implementation measures, such as the construction of the shelving systems and hanging goods system, the installation of the infrastructure and the integration of IT. The GCS team accompanied all implementation measures, as well as the operationalization of processes by managers and employees. After the move, the process was stabilized in a subsequent get-well phase and transferred to operations by the customer.
