Project description:
In this project, we supported an international multi-brand owner in the selection of a PDM/PLM system. Using a standardized method for recording requirements for a new IT system, a catalog of requirements was drawn up with the relevant specialist departments and with the involvement of IT.
On this basis, a preselection of potential partners and systems from the market was drawn up for the customer as a basis for initial exploratory meetings. During these appointments, the providers presented specific system functions in relation to the catalog of requirements and then evaluated them using a tried-and-tested fit/gap check methodology from GCS Consulting's toolset in order to provide the client with a reliable basis for decision-making (including an initial cost indication for the implementation).
