Project description
The project involved validating an existing rough concept for the relocation of the customer's warehouse logistics . As part of the project, the client wanted to obtain a further opinion on the relocation of its own logistics operations to a new property in order to achieve the highest possible level of security.
To this end, the GCS team of consultants compared the existing concept with industry-standard performance indicators, simulated possible adjustments and developed alternative concept designs. The concept designs developed included corresponding material flow calculations, process descriptions and warehouse layouts based on the processing and planning data provided by the customer, as well as project planning and investment estimates for subsequent implementation. Based on the project results, the customer made the decision for future processing.
