Project description
In this project, we developed an omni-channel strategy for a client and supported them in the selection and introduction of an ERP system for the implementation of this strategy.
In the first step, the introduction of an ERP system with cash register connection for wholesale and retail is planned; in the second step, the connection of e-commerce is planned.
To implement the omnichannel-oriented ERP project, GCS worked with the client's employees to develop a customer journey concept down to "use case" level, recorded and analyzed the processes in all specialist areas and formulated future requirements.
On this basis, a semi-agile project assignment was used to preselect potential partners and systems for the customer. A fit/gap check was used to develop a basis for the decision.
After the final selection of the system / partner, implementation began.
The project is currently in an agile first implementation phase.
