Project description

In this project, we supported a retail company in the fashion & lifestyle sector with its own eCommerce store in outsourcing its logistics to a service provider.

As a basis for this, the existing processes were recorded and analyzed. Based on this, a service provider tender was created and possible optimization potentials in logistics processing and the adjacent areas of the company were also identified in order to implement these step by step and prepare for the implementation of outsourcing. In the tendering process, concepts, offers and plans were exchanged with a pre-selection of suitable service providers and evaluated together with the client,

The GCS team of consultants managed the tendering process for the client up to the drafting of the contract and carried out the project management as well as the concept for integrating the logistics concept for the client. The implementation of the outsourcing was started on this basis.
