Project description

In the project, the customer's existing manual logistics processing was analyzed and various measures were compiled and evaluated. The customer's aim was to identify the weak points in warehouse logistics, their causes and possible options for action  in order to resolve existing capacity bottlenecks. The GCS team of consultants recorded the processes in the warehouse, assessed weak points, compared them with industry-standard key performance indicators and discussed possible adjustments to the layout and processes with the customer. The optimization of the existing processing, the expansion of the warehouse as well as possible outsourcing were evaluated. Based on the rough concept created, the customer was able to make the necessary decisions for implementation.
