Project description

As part of a program to introduce a new ERP system, the procurement area, with purchasing and production, was considered separately. The project served to analyze all processes for both in-house production and purchasing and the subsequent identification of solutions for process optimization. From the initial idea, through cutting, material and ingredient selection, sample production, production planning and preparation to quality inspection and delivery to the warehouse. Using quick check modules and the associated method kits, GCS carried out an in-depth data and process analysis and used this to develop solutions for future collaboration between the departments involved, as well as possible process optimizations. In the next step, these results were incorporated into the ERP project as requirements. The implementation of the solution approaches in the operational area was carried out independently in consultation with the customer.
