Project description

In this project, we developed an omnichannel strategy for a client and supported them in the selection and introduction of an ERP system to implement this strategy. In the first step, the introduction of an ERP system with a cash register connection for wholesale and retail is planned, followed by the connection of e-commerce in the second step. To implement the omnichannel-oriented ERP project, GCS worked with the customer's employees to develop a customer journey concept down to use case level, recorded and analyzed the processes in all specialist areas and formulated future requirements. On this basis, a semi-agile project assignment was used to preselect potential partners and systems for the client. A fit/gap check was used to develop a basis for decision-making.
After the final selection of the system/partner, implementation began. The project is currently in an agile first implementation phase.
